INVAZIAN INSPIRATION?

The company invazian was inspired by many factors in my life. Growing up I learned the harshness my grandma and parents went through during their time in Southeast Asia. From escaping war battles to becoming refugees, many family and friends were lost along the way. Being able to come to America for my grandma and parents was a blessing, but many close ones were also left behind. Jungles are being taken away with advancements in technology making it hard for traditional villages to adjust, forcing them to be homeless on the streets or else move deeper into jungles. Other families are still stuck in refugee camps and suffering from aftermaths of the Vietnam War. After learning about the company TOMs and other organizations’ models for giving back, gave me the idea for invazian. A little help to a person is better than nothing at all and every problem is closer to a solution by starting somewhere. This company is my way of giving back to the Asian Community, my family and hopefully a larger impact in the near future for others in the world.

LOGO INSPIRATION?

The logo for invazian comes from a traditional Hmong hat. Hmong people are an ethnic group that comes from the regions of China, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand and Myanmar. The word Hmong means "free" or "people of the free". The company invazian focuses on helping communitiesfrom the Southeast Asia regions to access basic life necessities such as clothing, food and clean water.
